Private Label Partnership

BofI Federal Bank is pleased to offer financing to brokers, bankers, and financial institutions through our innovative Private Label Partnership program. This will allow you or your institution to serve as the lender to your client while our Income Property Lending experts handle the processing, underwriting, and other paperwork behind the scenes.

How It Works

  • You act as the lender and you are the primary point of contact to the borrower through the closing of the loan.
  • All documents provided to the borrower will identify you as the lender, including closing documents.

Approval Process and Requirements

It’s quick and easy…

  • Complete and sign the Private Label Partnership Agreement
  • Approved brokers, bankers, and financial institutions must have a minimum net worth of $2.5 million and at least two years in business.

What You Need to Do

  • Work with one of our Business Development Managers to submit requests for a Letter of Interest.
  • You handle all communication with the borrower and collect all of the paperwork needed to process and underwrite the loan.
  • Sign and deliver all loan assignments to BofI Federal Bank prior to loan funding for easy transfer of ownership at loan closing.

What We Do

We handle all of the paperwork for you…

  • We will send you updated rate sheets on a regular basis.
  • We will order all third party reports (appraisal, property inspection, flood, and credit).
  • We will deliver all borrower correspondence to you with your name and your logo showing you as the lender.
  • We will handle the processing, underwriting, and preparation of legal documents as well as close and fund the loan in your name.
  • Yield Spread Premium (YSP) paid directly to you at funding.
